The client had noticed some rotting in their bathroom doorframe which is a common sign when previous trades haven't sealed timber and installed correct flashing and water proofing correctly.
What may appear as minor rotting often reveals a fair bit more as you an see in the pictures.
This small project involved removing the existing door architrave, skirting and framing then reconstructing all with overengineered waterproofing sealing the timber with various coats, installing flashing and waterproofing then reinstalling a new door architrave, skirting.
Finished by painting while matching existing colour and painting technique to make the repair blend in to the surrounding frame and architrave.
